Wow! A new decade? Where did the last year go let alone the last decade? So many wonderful and difficult challenges that are a memory now. But I will carry those memories and lessons with me forever. In a good way. Even at the age of 53 I am still growing and learning mentally. I love this. It is never too late to start over or begin a new hobby, career, relocation, or lifestyle. I have had all of those activities happening the past year alone! Makes life interesting right? I personally am looking forward to the next year and beyond and seeing where life takes me and RudyBlu Jewelry in these adventures.
I am chomping at the bit to get two new jewelry lines out in the world. I have a High Jewelry Collection available later this month influenced by my mom's original wedding ring. I say original because about 15 years ago she did not know her ring fell down the sink in to the disposal. And yep, she ground it in to pieces. It was a wide band with a basket weave pattern and little diamond and sapphire stones around it. The gold was pretty thin and not strong enough to withstand the garbage disposal. She kept the pieces thinking some day she would have it remade but never did. Dad did get her a lovely new ring so not to worry! I have the original ring pieces now after she passed away this year. I just recently had the design and molds finished for the 2020 version of this ring. (Photo at left is the first new ring in the collection) As you know already, I love big statement jewelry. These rings and complimenting earrings will not disappoint. I also designed a gorgeous Initial Pendant in a sand blasted 14K gold and diamonds.
I have always loved letter or initial pendants but I have never found any that I would wear. I knew what I wanted so now I have designed it and made it. Of course I started with the letter A that I wear every day. It is a big letter pendant just like I like it!

My second new collection is called The Screaming Pearl. A modern take on pearls that are classy yet tons of fun. Carved, enameled, colored and paired with gemstones and gold and silver. Yum!
